Sufyan Ibn Simt reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said:“Islam is that superficiality (Zahir), to which the people belong: “The declaration that there is no God other than God and that Muhammad is the messenger of God, doing the prayer, paying the alms, pilgrimage to the house (Ka’bah) and fasting in the month of Ramadan, that is Islam. Faith (Iman) is the recognition of this thing together with its superficiality, and the one who has confessed to it, without recognizing this thing, is a Muslim and misguided.”[Mustadrak Safinati l-Bihar by An-Namazi, Vol. 5 Page 112]

عن محمد بن محمد عن محمد بن يعقوب عن محمد بن يحيى عن أحمد بن محمد عن علي بن الحكم عن سفيان بن السمط عن أبي عبد الله الصادق عليه السلام قال: الاسلام هو الظاهر الذي عليه الناس شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدا رسول الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وحج البيت، وصيام شهر رمضان، فهذا الاسلام، وقال: الايمان معرفة هذا الامر مع هذا فان أقر بها ولم يعرف هذا الامر كان مسلما وكان ضالا

Abdullah Ibn Muhammad reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “It is due to God that He let the misguided enter Paradise.” They said: “How is it that my life is sacrificed to you? He said: “The one who speaks dies and the one who is silent does not speak, so that the person dies and God lets him enter Paradise.” [Masabih-ul-Anwar by Abdullah Shubbar, Volume 2, page 323 Hadith 179]

عن عبد الله بن محمد عن الصادق عليه السلام قال: حقيق على الله عز وجل أن يُدخل الضُلال الجنة فقيل: كيف ذلك جُعلت فداك؟ قال: يموت النا‏طق ولا ينطق الصامت فيموت المرء فيُدخله الجنة

Husain Ibn Ali (a.) reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Paradise has eight gates. Through one gate the prophets and the truthful enter, through one gate the martyrs and the righteous enter, through five gates our followers and lovers enter, and through one gate the remaining Muslims enter, testifying that there is no God except God, having in their hearts no atom of hatred for us people of the house.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 72 page 159 Hadith 5]

الخصال: القطان: عن ابن زكريا، عن ابن حبيب، عن محمد بن عبد الله، عن علي بن الحكم، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن محمد بن الفضيل الزرقي، عن أبي عبد الله عن آبائه، عن علي عليهم السلام قال: إن للجنة ثمانية أبواب باب يدخل منه النبيون والصديقون، وباب يدخل منه الشهداء والصالحون، وخمسة أبواب يدخل منه شيعتنا ومحبونا، وباب يدخل منه سائر المسلمين ممن يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله ولم يكن في قلبه مقدار ذرة من بغضنا أهل البيت

Harith Ibn Mughirah reported that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “Did the messenger of God (s.) say: “Whoever dies while not knowing his Imam, dies a death ignorance?” He said: “Yes.” I said: ” The ignorance of the ignorant or the ignorance of the one who does not know his Imam?” He said: ” The ignorance of disbelief and hypocrisy and misguidance.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, vol. 1 page 235 Hadith 3]

أحمد بن إدريس، عن محمد بن عبد الجبار، عن صفوان، عن الفضيل، عن الحارث بن المغيرة قال: قلت لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: من مات لا يعرف إمامه مات ميتة جاهلية؟ قال: نعم، قلت: جاهلية جهلاء أو جاهلية لا يعرف إمامه؟ قال جاهلية كفر ونفاق وضلال

Sulaim Ibn Qais reported that he asked Imam Ali (a.): “God give you salvation, does the believer who recognizes and calls upon you enter the fire? He said: “No.” I said: “Does he who does not know his Imam enter Paradise? He said: “No, unless God wills it.” I said: “Does an unbeliever (Kafir) or an associate (Mushrik) enter Paradise? He said: “No one enters the fire except an unbeliever (Kafir), unless God wills it.” [Kitab Sulaim, page 172]

عن أبان بن أبي عياش عن سليم بن قيس عن علي الصديق عليه السلام قال: فقلت أصلحك الله أيدخل النار المؤمن العارف الداعي؟ قال عليه السلام لا قلت أفيدخل الجنة من لا يعرف إمامه؟ قال عليه السلام لا إلا أن يشاء الله قلت أيدخل الجنة كافر أو مشرك؟ قال لا يدخل النار إلا كافر إلا أن يشاء الله
