Muhammad bin Al-Hassan, of Sama’a bin Mehran, of Abi Abdallah (a.s.) said that the Prophet (s.a.a.s.) said: “Whoever fasts three days in the month of Rajab, for him Allah will write down an yearly fast for each day, and whoever fasts seven days in the month of Rajab, the seven gates of the Fire will be closed to him, and whoever fasts eight days, the eight gates of Paradise will be opened to him, and whoever fasts fifteen days, Allah will settle accounts with him in a lenient manner, and if a person fasts the whole Rajab, Allah will write him down in his satisfaction, and if Allah writes him down in his satisfaction, no punishment will await him.” [Mesabih-Al-Mehtehejed, page 734]

محمد بن الحسن في ( المصباح ) عن سماعة بن مهران ، عن أبي عبدالله ( عليه السلام ) قال : قال رسول الله ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ) : من صام ثلاثة أيام من رجب كتب الله له بكل يوم صيام سنة ، ومن صام سبعة أيام من رجب غلقت عنه سبعة أبواب النار ، ومن صام ثمانية أيام فتحت له أبواب الجنة الثمانية ، ومن صام خمسة عشر يوما حاسبه الله حسابا يسيرا ، ومن صام رجبا كله كتب الله له رضوانه ، ومن كتب الله له رضوانه لم يعذبه .
