Abu Bakr calls for oral sex

Did Abu Bakr ask his fellow men to perform oral sex?
Urwah Ibn Az-Zubair reported that Al-Miswar Ibn Makhramah and Marwan said: “The Prophet Muhammad (s.) went out in the time of Hudaibiyyah until they were part of the way. The Messenger (s.) said: “Khalid Ibn Al-Walid leads the Quraish cavalry in the place of Ghamim. So take the direction from the right.” By God, Khalid did not notice them until they were in the dust of the army. So he rushed ahead to warn the Quraish. The messenger (s.) moved on and when he was on a hilly path through which one could descend to them, his camel settled down with him. The people said: “Up, up!” To spur it on, and they said: “Al-Qaswa’ has become stubborn, Al-Qaswa’ has become stubborn.” The Messenger (s.) said: “Al-Qaswa’ did not become stubborn, for that is not part of her morality, but she was held back by Him Who held back the elephant.” Then he said: “By Whom my soul is in Whose hand is my soul, if they ask me for a matter whereby the rites of God are valued, i will give it to them.” He then rebuked the camel and mounted it and departed from them until he reached the farthest end of Hudaibiyyah by a ditch with a little water, which people used to take in small quantities. The people did not stop until it dried up and they complained to the Messenger (s.) about the thirst. Then he drew an arrow from his quiver and ordered them to place it in it. By Allah, the water then gushed out to the extent that they had quenched their thirst. When they were in this situation, Budail Ibn Warqa’al-Khuza’i arrived with a group of his tribe, Khuza’ah, and they were complaining people from Tihamah who advised the Messenger. He said: “I left Ka’b Ibn Lu’ai and Amir Ibn Lu’ai, who settled by the waters of Hudaibiyyah and had milk-producing camels with them, and they want to fight you and keep you from the house (Ka’bah).” Then the Messenger (s.) said: “We have not come to fight anyone, but to make the little pilgrimage (Umrah). The war has weakened the Quraish tribe and harmed them, and if they wish, i will arrange a time of peace with them, keeping out of the matter between me and the people. If i emerge victorious, they can, if they wish, join the one the humans have joined and if not, they will gather their strength. But if they do not agree to this, then i swear by Him in Whose hand is my soul that i will fight them for my cause until my end approaches, but God will complete His cause.” Budail said: “I will inform them of what you say.” Then he went out until he came to the Quraish and said: “We came to you from that man (Muhammad) and heard him make a statement. If you wish us to inform you of this, we will do so.” Some of their fools said: “We do not need you to tell us anything about it!” But the thoughtful ones said: “Transmit what you heard him say.”He said: “I heard him say this and that.” And he told them what the messenger had said. Then Urwah Ibn Mas’ud stood up and said: “O you people, are you not the children?” They said: “Yes.” He said: “And am i not the father?” And they said: “Yes.” He said: “Do you not trust me?” They said: “Not at all.” He said: “Do you not know that i called upon the people of Ukaz for your support and when they refused, i came to you with my relatives, my children and those who are subject to me?” They said: “Yes.” He said: “He has made you a reasonable offer. Accept it and let me go to him!” They said: “Go to him!” Then he went to him and began to speak to the Messenger, and the Messenger said the same as he had said to Budail. Then Urwah said: “O Muhammad, do you see how you are destroying your people? Have you ever heard of any of the Arabs before you that he plagued his relatives? Even if the other one did, i do not see any respected faces with God. All i see is a multitude of people running away and leaving you.” Abu Bakr said to him: “Suck the clitoris of Lat! We run away from him and leave him?” He asked: “Who is that?” They replied: “Abu Bakr.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith 2583]
حدثني عبد الله بن محمد حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر قال أخبرني الزهري قال أخبرني عروة بن الزبير عن المسور بن مخرمة ومروان يصدق كل واحد منهما حديث صاحبه قالا خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم زمن الحديبية حتى إذا كانوا ببعض الطريق قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إن خالد بن الوليد بالغميم في خيل لقريش طليعة فخذوا ذات اليمين فوالله ما شعر بهم خالد حتى إذا هم بقترة الجيش فانطلق يركض نذيرا لقريش وسار النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى إذا كان بالثنية التي يهبط عليهم منها بركت به راحلته فقال الناس حل حل فألحت فقالوا خلأت القصواء خلأت القصواء فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ما خلأت القصواء وما ذاك لها بخلق ولكن حبسها حابس الفيل ثم قال والذي نفسي بيده لا يسألوني خطة يعظمون فيها حرمات الله إلا أعطيتهم إياها ثم زجرها فوثبت قال فعدل عنهم حتى نزل بأقصى الحديبية على ثمد قليل الماء يتبرضه الناس تبرضا فلم يلبثه الناس حتى نزحوه وشكي إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم العطش فانتزع سهما من كنانته ثم أمرهم أن يجعلوه فيه فوالله ما زال يجيش لهم بالري حتى صدروا عنه فبينما هم كذلك إذ جاء بديل بن ورقاء الخزاعي في نفر من قومه من خزاعة وكانوا عيبة نصح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من أهل تهامة فقال إني تركت كعب بن لؤي وعامر بن لؤي نزلوا أعداد مياه الحديبية ومعهم العوذ المطافيل وهم مقاتلوك وصادوك عن البيت فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إنا لم نجئ لقتال أحد ولكنا جئنا معتمرين وإن قريشا قد نهكتهم الحرب وأضرت بهم فإن شاءوا ماددتهم مدة ويخلوا بيني وبين الناس فإن أظهر فإن شاءوا أن يدخلوا فيما دخل فيه الناس فعلوا وإلا فقد جموا وإن هم أبوا فوالذي نفسي بيده لأقاتلنهم على أمري هذا حتى تنفرد سالفتي ولينفذن الله أمره فقال بديل سأبلغهم ما تقول قال فانطلق حتى أتى قريشا قال إنا قد جئناكم من هذا الرجل وسمعناه يقول قولا فإن شئتم أن نعرضه عليكم فعلنا فقال سفهاؤهم لا حاجة لنا أن تخبرنا عنه بشيء وقال ذوو الرأي منهم هات ما سمعته يقول قال سمعته يقول كذا وكذا فحدثهم بما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقام عروة بن مسعود فقال أي قوم ألستم بالوالد قالوا بلى قال أولست بالولد قالوا بلى قال فهل تتهموني قالوا لا قال ألستم تعلمون أني استنفرت أهل عكاظ فلما بلحوا علي جئتكم بأهلي وولدي ومن أطاعني قالوا بلى قال فإن هذا قد عرض لكم خطة رشد اقبلوها ودعوني آتيه قالوا ائته فأتاه فجعل يكلم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نحوا من قوله لبديل فقال عروة عند ذلك أي محمد أرأيت إن استأصلت أمر قومك هل سمعت بأحد من العرب اجتاح أهله قبلك وإن تكن الأخرى فإني والله لأرى وجوها وإني لأرى أوشابا من الناس خليقا أن يفروا ويدعوك فقال له أبو بكر امصص ببظر اللات أنحن نفر عنه وندعه فقال من ذا قالوا أبو بكر

Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani writes: “The clitoris, with the uniform vowel Fathah and dotted Sukun (Bazr), is a part that remains in the intimate area of the woman after circumcision and Lat is the name of a goddess that the Quraish tribe worshipped. It was a custom of the Arabs to use such insults, but they used these words towards the mother. Abu Bakr, however, wanted to take the insult of urrwah to the extreme by using it on the one he used to worship and who had the rank of his mother. He made him do it with that which made him angry about the Muslims’ fleeing. This includes permission to use indecent language to teach a lesson to those who deserve it.” [Fath-ul-Bari Bi-Sharh Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 5 Page 401]
قال ابن حجر العسقلاني: والبظر بفتح الموحدة وسكون المعجمة قطعة تبقى بعد الختان في فرج المرأة واللات اسم أحد الأصنام التي كانت قريش وثقيف يعبدونها وكانت عادة العرب الشتم بذلك لكن بلفظ الأم فأراد أبو بكر المبالغة في سب عروة بإقامة من كان يعبد مقام أمه وحمله على ذلك ما أغضبه به من نسبة المسلمين إلى الفرار وفيه جواز النطق بما يستبشع من الألفاظ لإرادة زجر من بدا منه ما يستحق به ذلك
