Yasir Al-Khadim reported, that Imam Ar-Rida (a.) said: ,,For this creation there are three moments that are most horrifying: the day you are born and leave the womb of your mother, whereupon you see this world, the day you die, whereupon you see the hereafter and your relatives and the day you are raised, whereupon you see arrangements that you did not see in the world of this world and for these three moments God has aligned peace to John (a.) and security from its horror.Thus He said: ๏ดพPeace be with him on the day he was born, on the day he dies and on the day he is raised to life.๏ดฟ (19:15) And Jesus, the son of Mary (a.), aligned peace to himself for these three moments. Muhammad Ibn Ali As-Saduq writes: ,,The most difficult moments for a person are three: the day he is born, the day he dies, and the day he is raised to life and God has aligned peace to John (a.) for these moments. So God said: ๏ดพPeace be with him on the day he was born, the day he dies and the day he is raised to life.๏ดฟ (19:15) And Jesus (a.) aligned peace for himself for these three moments. Thus he said: ๏ดพPeace be with me on the day I was born, on the day I die and on the day I am raised to life.๏ดฟ (19:33) [ … ] Our belief in the return is that it is true and He, praise be to Him, has said: ๏ดพDid you not see those who left their dwellings while they were thousands, for fear of death? So God said to them: ,,Die.” Hereupon He raised them to life.๏ดฟ (2:243) [ … ] And our opponents have narrated that when the Guided One (Mahdi) comes forth, Jesus the son of Mary (a. ), descends, after which he prays behind him and his descent to the earth is his return to this world after his death, for God said, ๏ดพI cause you to die and lift you up to Me.๏ดฟ” (3:55) [Al-I’tiqadat, pages 49 – 62]

Abu Abdillah (a.) reported, that his fathers (a.) said: ,,Hasan ibn Ali (a.) uttered in that, which he opposed the king of the Romans: ๏ดพThe age of Jesus (a.) in this world was thirty-three years. Hereupon God lifted him up to heaven (4:158) and he will come down to earth in Damascus. He is the one who will kill the deceiver (Dajjal).๏ดฟ” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 14, Page 247, Hadith 27]

Hasan Ibn Ali reported that Imam Ar-Rida (a.) said: ,,No matter of any of the prophets of God and His proofs to the people remained unclear, except the matter of Jesus (a.) alone, for He was lifted up alive from the earth and died between the heaven and the earth. After that, He was lifted up to heaven and made alive again and this is His word: ๏ดพWhen God said: ,,O Jesus, I will cause you to die and lift you up to Me and keep you pure.”๏ดฟ (3:55) And God said as a report of the word of Jesus (a.) on the Day of Resurrection: ๏ดพI was a witness over them while I was among them, but when You left me to die, You were the guardian over them and You are a witness over everything.๏ดฟ” (5:117) [Al-Burhan of Al-Bahrani, Volume 2, page 41, Hadith 3]

Ziyad ibn Abi l-Halal reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,There is no prophet and no authorized representative of a prophet who remains on earth for more than three days after his death until his spirit, bones and flesh are lifted up to heaven. It is only the places of their traces that are entered and peace reaches them from afar and they hear it in the places of their traces from near.” [Al-Mazar of Al-Mufid, page 220 – 221, Hadith 2]

Abdullah Ibn Muskan reported that Faid Ibn Abi Shaibah said: ,,I heard Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq) speaking and he read this verse: ๏ดพWhen God made the covenant with the Prophets.๏ดฟ (3:81) He said: ๏ดพTo believe in the Messenger of God (s.) and to help Ali, the Commander of the Faithful (a.).๏ดฟ I said: ๏ดพTo help the Commander of the Faithful (a.)?๏ดฟ He said: ๏ดพYes, by God, starting from Adam. For God did not send a prophet nor a messenger except that He will make them all return to this world till they fight in the presence of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, the Commander of the Believers (a.).๏ดฟ” [Al-Mukhtasar of Al-Hilli, page 128, hadith 32]

Hasan Ibn Yusuf Ibn Mutahhar Al-Hilli writes: ,,Ali (a.) went out to the mosque one day, as Umar was holding something from the Torah in his hand. Then he commanded him, to push it away and said: ๏ดพIf Moses and Jesus were alive, they would have no choice but to follow me.๏ดฟ” [Nihayat-ul-Ahkam, Volume2, Page 471]
